This weekend retreat features high energy yoga flows (expect to sweat!), healthy, detoxifying food, yin and restorative yoga, mindfulness meditation and hiking. All while being immersed in the best mother nature has to offer in stunning Muskoka, Canada.
Suitable for all fitness levels, expect to challenge your body, slow down your mind and recharge your batteries!

THE ITINERARY
DAY 1 - FRIDAY
2:00 - 5:00 pm - Check-in. If you can take the day or afternoon off of work, you can arrive early to settle in and enjoy the beautiful property!
6:00 - 7:00 pm - Slow Flow Welcome Yoga Class
7:30 - 9:00 - Family Style Dinner (hopefully outside - weather permitting!)
9:00 pm Bonfire, storytelling
DAY 2 - SATURDAY
6:15 - 7:15 am - Sunrise meditation (Self--guided, optional)
7:30 - 8:45 am - Vinyasa Flow Yoga
The flow yoga taught by Kathy, is a creative sequence of connecting hatha poses designed to connect body, mind, and spirit through strengthening, lengthening and opening. There are some strengthening flows, so expect to sweat!
The classes are set to great tunes and incorporate an aromatherapy savasana massage. The classes are suitable for all levels of yogi’s.

11:00 - 1:00 pm - Free time! Optional tour and story of Woodfield

2:00 - 4:30 - Free Time (Hike to the waterfall!)

WoodFIELD in Muskoka - a magical escape - ACcommodation and pricing
Woodfield is situated in a lush valley in central Muskoka surrounded by forests, pastures, water, and wildlife.
Spanning 400 acres of field and forest, you can feel the magic of Woodfield the moment you turn onto the winding road that brings you to a vast space of greenery, complete with yurts, beautiful lodges, fire pits, Muskoka chairs and breathtaking views.
Lodges are located a short walking distance from the yoga spaces, eating and wellness areas.
Each lodge holds 8 people and there are 4 rooms per lodge. There are typically 2 guests per room (I am trying to have at least one single available).
Bedrooms include a hand made bunk bed design with 2 queen sized premium mattress, pillows & duvets.
There are 2 bathrooms located in each lodge, which come fully equipped with towels and essential toiletries.
In addition, each lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with premium quality appliances included a coffee machine, kettle, cutlery, dishware etc.

It's approximately 2.5 hours from Toronto. We can also put you in touch with other guests to discuss car pooling!

Kathy Parsons
For more than a decade, certified Yoga teacher (RYT-200), Kathy, has been on dozens of health retreats around the world. She professes herself as a "retreat addict" (and a type-A in recovery) and is now dedicated to providing the ultimate energizing and balanced yoga, fitness and retreat experience for others.
Her specialty is vinyasa flow, and her classes incorporate creative movements that strengthen and lengthen the body while staying connected to the breath. She also teaches moving meditation, yin yoga and mindfulness. Classes are tailored to the students with as much personalized attention as possible, including gentle hands-on adjustments and assists, inspirational music and a scented savasana massage.

Kathy’s home base is in Toronto, and when she is not leading retreats in Cuba and around the world, she is working on her business The Santosha Life.
